Outcasts Midget team’s waste no time starting their season with a trip to NARCh Winter Nationals

The 2011 season officially starts off this January in San Jose, California with the NARCh Winter Nationals and the Outcasts 92’s and 93′s wouldn’t miss it for anything. With most of the team finally off ice skates and into college or wrapping up their SR years, the ever difficult MLK weekend now poses no problems with busy ice hockey tournament weekends.
The 92’s have already been hard at work recruiting in new players to rebuild their roster after graduating ½ the team of ‘91’s to the Junior division for 2011. As they make a run for NARCh hardware in their final year of “youth hockey”, Outcasts veterans Mike Rivera, Nick Bazso, Tommy Tuohy, and Paul Linder look to their competition throughout the years to help build a medal worthy Platinum team for the 2011 NARCh finals in Estero, Florida. With commitments from California players Drew Yeoman, Rey Mesa, and Ryan Newens, and Colorado additions in GarthPennman and Goalie Kevin Dwyer, the 92’s look to be the powerhouse of the west coast this season.
In a different situation, the 93′s core knows their roster is anything but complete this early in the game. Not willing to sit out Winter Nationals, teammates Kevin Smith and Zach Burke approached 2010 season teammates Jake Cockrow and Brennen Sowa. The four then tapped Outcasts 94′s Bradley Hovlid and Noah Cullen to shore things up. Burke and Smith then turned to the ever faithful NARCh Announcement board to find 2 new teammates north of the boarder to round things out.
Both Outcasts teams are excited to get a jump on 2011 and hope to return back to their various states with some hardware come January 17th.
